Volatility describes how a game’s results may be distributed, while RTP describes a theoretical long-run return. A higher-volatility title may have more uneven outcomes, but labels and actual behavior depend on the specific game. Neither measure says what will happen in the next spin.
Look for the provider’s volatility description and any explanation of features, paylines and maximum win. Third-party labels may not use a consistent scale. When a title gives no clear explanation, do not infer its risk from artwork or a large advertised multiplier.
A session can vary widely regardless of the label. Decide the amount and time you are comfortable spending before opening a game, and stop at that boundary. Do not raise a stake to recover a losing run or wait for a feature that is not guaranteed.
