Understand theoretical return to player, its long-run meaning and why it cannot predict one person’s short session.
Return to player is a theoretical percentage calculated over a very large number of plays under a game’s specified configuration. An RTP of 96% does not mean a player receives MYR 96 back for every MYR 100 in a single session. Individual results can be much higher or lower.
Some titles have more than one RTP setting, and an operator may offer a specific configuration. Check the game’s information screen rather than relying on a review or an old image. A listed figure should identify the title and configuration it describes.
A theoretical return is not a reason to increase stakes or extend play. It says nothing about when wins occur or whether a particular session will end ahead. Set a limit based on entertainment spending, not on a promise that a percentage will return to you.
