Guide overview
A step-by-step guide to reading symbol values, line rules, feature triggers and stake details in a slot paytable.
Start with the stake and symbol values
Check whether listed rewards are per line, per way, per combination or tied to a particular stake. The same symbol can pay different values for different counts. Find out whether a displayed amount is a multiplier or a cash amount.
Find the special-symbol rules
The paytable should explain wild substitutions, scatter triggers, bonus rounds, expanding symbols and any feature purchase. Pay attention to reel restrictions and whether the feature requires a minimum stake. Names and icons are not enough to determine the mechanic.
Check the version
A game title may have configurations with different RTP or feature settings. Verify the rules in the version opened on the site, then compare the total stake with your limit. A paytable explains mechanics; it does not promise that a feature will appear.
