In common baccarat formats, the main wagers are Player, Banker and Tie. Player and Banker refer to the two hands, not to who is sitting at the table. Cards are dealt according to fixed drawing rules, and the hand closest to nine wins under the game’s rules.
A Banker win may pay even money less a commission at some tables; other versions can use a different payout. Tie wagers usually have a higher displayed payout but a different probability profile. Read the specific table information before comparing.
Road maps and history boards display earlier results in different visual forms. They do not make the next hand predictable. If the table rules are unclear, use the help panel and take time to understand how card values and the third-card rules work.
